There are three things that we strive for in life and that is freedom, income and impact

Investing in commercial real estate enables you to create various income streams and ultimately gain freedom. An important factor that is in the essence of our strategies at TaylorCapital is getting your time back. There are three things that we strive for in life and that is freedom, income, and impact. Once we have generated the first two, according to Maslow's hierarchy of needs, we start having the aspiration of making an impact.

Regenerating the high street and giving back to the local community is just as important and the way to have the ability to do so is by selecting the most beneficial asset class for your business investments. There are four asset classes that you can consider and they are: business, property, commodity, and paper.

The one that can  have a positive impact on your cash flow and present an opportunity is property, especially commercial property due to the following:

  • A - "Axe the hassle" - in commercial, what we are always trying to achieve is simplicity. Having the appropriate strategy and structure of the deal will enable you to remove the hassle from the process.
  • S - "Seriously big discounts" - due to the influencing factors in the market, such as the growing popularity of Amazon or the financial crisis, investors are able to purchase commercial assets at particularly low costs with the right approach.
  • S - "Seriously long term" - by creating relationships and working with the right vendors, you can source long term leases and create multiple income streams for future profits.
  • E - "Exponential growth" - commercial can enable you to grow your portfolio due to the flexibility in this sector and its ability to add value to a property as quickly as overnight.
  • T - "Tenants spend" - bundling costs up and transferring them back to the tenants is how commercial real estate differentiates from residential. It once again removes the hassle and does not tie you down to a property.
  • Z - "Zap the tax" - due to the fact that the government is incentivizing investing in commercial property, investors are able to enjoy tax-free cash flows which inevitably influences your Profit & Loss statement.
